NANS President ‘Mugabe’ Proposes to his Girlfriend on His Birthday

Danielson Bamidele Akpan, the embattled president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), nicknamed ‘Mugabe’ recently engaged his longtime girlfriend, Miss Etini Etukudo.

It was gathered that he made the big move at the Transcorp Hilton Hotels, Abuja on Sunday, at his birthday celebration attended by friends and family. He took to his social media page to make the announcement.

The NANS president bagged the infamous title ‘Mugabe’ following his refusal to conduct fresh elections or handover power despite the expiration of his one-year non-renewable tenure since 2019.

Though he claims elections cannot hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, the president has however been seen in political gatherings including allegedly endorsing the re-election bids of Southern governors.

Mr. Apkan has been criticized, on so many occasions, and asked to stop parading himself as NANS president, while several of his appointees have equally resigned their positions following the development.
