Principal and Vice Principal suspended for being absent during school hours
The Principal and Vice Principal, Mr Fabingha Simeon and Mr Morgans Agagaowei, of the Epie National High School, Yenagoa, have been suspended by the Bayelsa State Government for alleged absenteeism during school hours. The suspension was ordered by the state Commissioner for Education Mr Gentle Emelah, during an unscheduled visit to the school on Monday.
Emelah, who was among the 24 new commissioners sworn in by the state Governor, Douye Diri, on August 25, said that he discovered during the visit that the affected principal and vice principal were absent from work.
