Wizkid Sets New BET Awards Record With His 2023 Nomination

Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Wizkid has set a new record for all African artists following his recent nomination ahead of the BET Awards 2023.

The afrobeats mega star became the African artist with the highest BET Award nominations of all time, taking his tally of nominations to nine.

Wizkid was nominated for the 2023 BET Awards, which would be held on Monday, June 26, 2023, in the US for his contribution to Chris Brown‘s hit song ‘Call Me Everyday‘ in the ‘Best Collaboration category‘.
