Skibii Reveals Who Originally Owned Abracadabra

Skiibii, in a recent interview, has revealed who owns the hit song Abracadabra that took the entertainment industry by storm in 2022.

Nigerian singer and performer Abbey Elias, who is popularly known as Skiibii, in a recent interview with Afrobeats publicist and journalist Adesope Olajide on his popular podcast, Afrobeats Podcast, opened up on who originally owned the viral song Abracadabra which took over the entertainment industry in 2022.

The singer stated that he was, in fact, the original owner of the hit song before he decided to give it to the two-time Grammy-certified producer Rexxie without collecting any royalties on the song. Skiibii added that he actually had two verses for the song before Naira Marley heard the song in the studio and asked to be on the song, which led to the removal of his second verse.

Skiibii mentioned after Rexxie had requested for the song, he reached out to his manager before coming to the conclusion of giving the producer the song. The success of Abracadabra has been exciting to witness as the Grammy award-winning singer, Wizkid, expressed his love for the song, leading to the release of the song’s remix.
