Singer, Tems Speaks About Her Health Issues

Tems has opened up about the health concerns that are keeping her from performing at her upcoming gigs in the United Kingdom. For additional information, see our account.

In a recent interview, Tems explained to her followers why she had to cancel her gigs in England, and it’s not good news. After being diagnosed with Reflux Laryngitis, the singer announced to her loyal fanbase, dubbed the Rebel Gang, in a letter dated the 14th of June, that she will be taking some time off to rest and try to save her voice.

She also revealed that she’d been recommended to cancel upcoming gigs in Birmingham and London, scheduled for June 15 and July 17 respectively, by her doctor as a result of the problem.

Since late last year, the singer has been traveling in the UK and the US. She added that tickets for the show are still valid and pledged to gain even better health back in the coming year.

reflux laryngitis is an inflammation of the back of the throat caused by acid or other chemicals that rise up from the stomach and appears to be common among singers.
