PSG Would Apologize To Me Instead – Carlos Tevez Tells Lionel Messi

Former Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has slammed PSG for not treating Lionel Messi in a respectful manner.

Tevez, a former teammate of the football icon in Argentina, is unimpressed with the way the former Barcelona superstar was punished for two weeks following an authorized trip to Saudi Arabia.

Tevez said it was clear that the French Ligue1 champions did not value Messi from the very moment he signed for them on a free transfer back in the summer of 2021.

The former Manchester United attacker wants the Parisians to apologise to the football great instead of the other way around.

Messi has since apologised to the club and their fans over his behaviour and gave reasons for his action but Tevez feels this should not be the case.

Speaking to TyC Sports, Carlos Tevez was quoted as saying,

“I think Messi gives us all a humbling blow. Because if you told me, when I was world champion, that I had to apologise for going on a trip when I had a day off, I’d go back to Rosario and stay there drinking mate. You’d have to apologise to me!

“Then we can say a lot of things about a club that didn’t really look after him. From the first moment he arrived, they didn’t look after him. That’s how it is.”
