Panic In Umuahia As Gunmen Attack Abia CID

According to a report by The PUNCH, there was panic in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, on Saturday, as G0nmen attacked the police state Criminal Investigation Department.

Sources in the area told our correspondent that the facility was set on fire.

The source said residents of Umuahia $c@mpered for safety as the G0nmen unleashed terror on the police facility.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Geoffrey Ogbonna, confirmed the incident.

He said, “State CID Umuahia came under attack about an hour ago. Details not handy at the moment.”
