With his goal against Croatia in the semifinal of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, Lionel Messi has established a new record for Argentina.
Lionel Messi, a six-time winner of the Ballon d’Or, established a new record for Argentina at the prestigious tournament by scoring from the penalty spot in the semifinal match against Croatia of the world cup 2022 in Qatar.
He did this by surpassing all previous scorers for Argentina at the world cup.
