I And Mercy Are Better Off As Friends – BBNaija Ike Onyema

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Ike Onyema, has opened up about his relationship with Mercy Eke, the winner of the 2019 edition of the reality show.

In a recent interview with CoolFM Nigeria, Ike revealed that he and Mercy are no longer romantically involved, but they remain good friends and business partners.

Ike said that he decided to end the relationship with Mercy because he felt they were both too busy and distracted to make it work. He said that he still loves and respects Mercy, but he realized that they are better off as friends. He also denied any involvement with another BBNaija star, Nengi Hampson, whom he was rumored to be dating.

Ike and Mercy met and fell in love during the BBNaija show in 2019. They became one of the most popular couples on the show and continued their relationship after the show ended.

They even had a reality TV spin-off called “Mercy and Ike“, which documented their lives as a couple. However, fans noticed that they stopped posting pictures of each other on social media and unfollowed each other on Instagram, sparking speculations that they had broken up.

Ike said that he is still on good terms with Mercy and they still talk regularly. He said that they are still working on some projects together and he is proud of her achievements. He also said that he is focusing on his own career and personal growth, and he is not looking for another relationship anytime soon.
