Gunmen Attack Police Checkpoint, Kill Three Officers In Delta

Three policemen have been killed as G0nmen attacked a checkpoint in Obeti Community in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State.

The G0nmen also set ablaze the patrol van of the Policemen who are from Umutu Police Station.

It is not clear if the G0nmen carted away the rifles of the deceased Policemen during the incident.

The Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe in a telephone chat with Our Correspondent confirmed the report

He said, “Confirmed” but did not also state if the G0nmen carted away the rifles of the Policemen.
