Gunmen Attack Fulani Camp In Abuja, Kill One, Injure Scores

A herder has been killed and others severely injured as G0nmen invaded a Fulani camp behind LEA Nomadic School, near Gwako village, Gwagwalada area council, Abuja.

It was learnt that the incident occurred on Friday morning when the G0nmen invaded the area targeting some of the herders for abduction.

The victim, who was G0nned down by the assailants has been identified as Goma Haruna.

Mohammed Usman, secretary, Gwagwalada chapter of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breaders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) told newsmen that the incident has triggered tension in the camp over fear of more attacks.

When contacted, the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Maryam Yusuf confirmed the incident.

According to her, operatives of the command have been mobilized to the area to track down the perpetrators.

A similar incident had happened in the nation’s capital on August 14 when G0nmen attacked a Fulani settlement in Dogon-Ruwa community, Kwali Area Council, kidnapped four herders, while others were seriously injured.
