FUTO Gets New Female Vice Chancellor

The Governing Council of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO)has appointed Prof Nnenna Oti has been elected as the Vice-Chancellor of the institution.

Prof. Oti who was the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic before her new appointment, will be succeeding outgoing vice-chancellor, Prof. Francis Eze.

The Univeristy’s new Vice Chancellor who is from Ebonyi state, emerged victorious with 75.5 points to be@t six other candidates. Her closest rival was Prof. Ikechukwu Dozie who scored 69.7 points.
