Final Year Student Wicked By Boyfriend For Ending Their Relationship

The boyfriend of 24-year-old Precious Ikpikhumi, a student of the Institute of Health Technology, University of Benin Teaching Hospital, has been arr*sted for the alleged murd@r of the student following the end of their relationship.

The suspect identified as 27-year-old John Aipoh allegedly k!lled precious after she called off their four-year relationship.

In a voice message Precious sent to one of her friends, she was heard saying she feared John might k!ll her for ending their relationship, and told her friend that John should be held responsible should anything happen to her. She was said to have gone underground after calling off the relationship, but was however traced by John and ambushed on the 1st of May, 2022, while she was on her way to church.

Following her disappearance, a manhunt was launched for John which eventually led to his arrest.

During interrogation, John who was found with the phone of the deceased, confessed to the crime saying he ambushed her while she was going to church, took her to an uncompleted building, and strangled her with her scarf out of anger for ending their relationship

He led the police to the site where the lifeless body of Precious was retrieved
