Drake continues his domination on streaming platforms.

The Toronto Rap Star continues his monumental run on streaming platforms as he now becomes the first artist to hit the 3 Billion streaming mark in the US this year.

The rapper has been dominating Billboard and streaming platforms since dropping his most recent project “Certified Lover Boy” last year. It was the first rap album of 2021 to spend five weeks at No. 1, sold over 600,000 sales in its first week, and smashed Apple Music and Spotify’s records for the most first-day streaming.

Drake earned a double-platinum status for his latest project which had the highest first-week sales for a rap album since the start of 2021. Earlier this year, it was also revealed that the “God’s Plan” rapper was the #1 streaming artist in the US in 2021. Champagne Papi earned 8.6 billion on-demand streams and 1 out of every 131 streams was his song.

The second on the list is Youtube fame NBA Youngboy, who was streamed over 2.8 Billion this year in the US. Taylor Swift followed him with 2.5 Billion, and Juice WRLD on fourth with 2.2 Billion. The Weeknd is in the top 5 with 2 Billion streams in the US in 2022.
