Chelsea Boss, Graham Potter And Kovacic Set New Champions League Records

Chelsea FC’s coach and players Graham Potter and Matteo Kovacic have set new champions league records following their victory over Salzburg.

As Chelsea FC secured a slot in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League today, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, coach Graham Potter and player Matteo Kovacic have both set new records in the UCL.

Graham Potter became the first coach at Chelsea to go unbeaten in his four opening games in the UEFA Champions League since the 2012 trophy-winning coach Roberto Di Matteo.

Potter has secured 3 wins and 1 draw in his first four games in the UCL.

Kovacic also became the second player to score his first five goals under five different managers alongside his country compatriot Luka Modric. Kovac scored his first five goals under Potter, Lampard, Zidane, Benitez and Jurcic.

Chelsea are through to the round of 16 of the competition with one game to spare.
