CBN Redesigns 200, 500 & 1000 Naira Notes

Some new naira notes have been redesign by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

This was said by CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele on Wednesday during a press conference.

The new design and issues, according to Emefiele, will take effect in December 2022.

He asked Nigerians to exchange their old notes for fresh ones at the bank.

Emefiele claims that the new notes come in denominations of N200, N500, and N1000.
