Burna Boy Offers Blank Cheque To All Blogs In Nigeria To Stop Writing About Him

Grammy-winning singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has expressed his willingness to compensate Nigerian blogs in order to cease posting news about him.

The self-proclaimed “African Giant” acknowledged that he has never paid any Nigerian blog before.

He urged bloggers in Nigeria to come together and determine a fee, which he would then settle in exchange for them refraining from posting about him “completely.”

In a message shared on his X handle on Friday, Burna Boy wrote:-

This post garnered varied reactions, with some fans cautioning him that he might become “forgotten” if bloggers stopped featuring news about him.

Burna Boy’s relationship with Nigerian bloggers has been strained, particularly after he warned them against offering his music for free downloads on their platforms.

The ‘Last Last‘ artist had criticized Nigerian bloggers for unauthorized distribution of his music.
