Buhari Vows To Ensure Peace In Nigeria Before Transition
President Muhammadu Buhari has promised Nigerians that when he leaves office in 2023, Nigeria will be more peaceful.
During a meeting with key government officials and security commanders on Wednesday in Abuja, Buhari promised that his administration would leave the nation in a safer state than when he took office in 2015.
He gave the assurance during the Emblem Appeal Launch for the 2023 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration held at the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa today.
Additionally, the President disclosed a N10 million payment to the appeal fund.
He called on all Nigerians and corporate organisations to support veterans and families of the fallen heroes whose past sacrifices have kept the country together.
