BOT Meeting With Wike Ends In D3adl0ck

Hopes of finding a long-lasting resolution to the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party were crush3d again, after the peace meeting on Tuesday, between the Board of Trustees and Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike ended in a d3adlock.

At around 4:35 pm, the nearly four-hour closed-door meeting in Government House, Port Harcourt, came to an end as the participants emerged happy and joking with press reporters.

Senator Adolphus Wabara, the PDP BoT’s acting chairman, told newsmen that although they had an open conversation, no decision had been made.

He said;

“We have not concluded. You know it is always easy to discuss but to make peace takes some time.

“We are better informed. We have gotten some new information. Every coin has two sides. In concrete terms, it is work in progress,”
