Bauchi Gov Fires 21 Commissioners, Top Officials

Governor of Bauchi State, Senator Bala Mohammed has dissolved the State Executive Council.

The dissolution is with immediate effect.

Those affected include the Secretary to the State Government, Sabi’u Baba; the governor’s Chief of Staff, Ladan Salihu, 21 Commissioners, and Special Advisers.

Governor Mohammed joins a growing list of state governors which include, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, Cross River State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, to have either dissolved their cabinets or sack commissioners and political aides in the past few weeks.
