Atiku Won’t S@crifice Anybody, Melaye Replies APC

Dino Melaye, spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar presidential campaign has responded to Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s campaign on Saturday, accusing them of trying to capitalize on the internal squabble within Peoples Democratic Party.

Melaye guaranteed that Atiku will not sacrifice those elected by the party for his own ambition, merely to appease authoritarian democrats, in a covert allusion to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State’s threat to leave the PDP.

According to him, Atiku would feel content that he did right even if he unintentionally lost the support of some party members for following the rules.

Melaye, former chairman of Senate Committee on the Federal Capital Territory, made the observations in a statement titled, ‘No short cut to victory.’

He said;

“The hawkers of spin in the camp of Ahmed Bola Tinubu are at it again, this time latching unto a debatable forecast to award victory to a delusional candidate who claimed that the presidency of Nigeria is a categorical entitlement”
