Asake has set an unbelievable record on the digital streaming platform Apple Music with his debut album Mr. Money With The Vibe and his hit song “Sungba”.

Saying Asake had arguably one of the biggest debuts and year in 2022 is no exaggeration, as it was confirmed by the digital streaming platform that his debut album, ‘Mr. Money With The Vibe‘ broke an unimaginable record in history.

‘Mr. Money With The Vibe‘ became the African album with the highest streams on its release date.

This was a phenomenal feat for the singer, who also had the most streamed song in Nigeria for 2022 on the platform with ‘Sungba‘ off his Extended Playlist (EP) ‘Ololade Asake.’

Apart from “SUNGBA” being the most streamed song on Nigeria Apple Music in 2022, Asake‘s debut album also broke the record for the biggest opening day for an African album in Apple Music history.
