You Have Cristiano Ronaldo’s Mentality – Silva Hails Erling Haaland

Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva has said that his teammate Erling Haaland has Cristiano Ronaldo’s mentality.

Silva, Ronaldo’s teammate in the Portuguese national team, attributed Haaland’s incredible debut campaign at the Etihad to his desire to always score, just like Ronaldo.

Haaland joined City in the summer of 2022 but has set the stage on fire by scoring 49 goals across competitions for Pep Guardiola’s side.

“The goal figures, it’s unbelievable; it’s Cristiano and Messi level, that amount of goals. Hopefully Erling can keep going that way…,” he told Arab News.

“He has definitely got the same mentality as Cristiano…”

Haaland netted one and provided another assist as Manchester City beat Arsenal in the Premier League on Wednesday to take charge of the title race.
