UEFA Announce Hosts For 2028 And 2032 Nations Cup

UEFA, the governing body of football in Europe, has confirmed the host nations for the 2028 and 2032 European Nations Cup.

The official announcement was made during a ceremony held at UEFA Headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland on Tuesday, October 10, 2023. According to UEFA, the 2028 competition will be jointly hosted by two nations, and similarly, the 2032 competitions will also be co-hosted for EURO 2028 and 2032.

UEFA disclosed that the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland will collaborate to co-host the UEFA EURO 2028.

Meanwhile, the Italian and Turkish football associations, initially individual bidders, decided to unite and presented a joint bid to host EURO 2032.

During the meeting, the presentations played a crucial role in evaluating the bids and arriving at the final decision after careful consideration of the bid submissions.

Aleksandr Ceferin, the President of UEFA, extended his congratulations to the teams during the event ceremony and expressed eagerness for the upcoming competitions.

“I would like to congratulate the bidders and host associations, whose dedication, hard work and commitment have been duly recognised today. Together, we will create unforgettable editions of this great tournament that will unite us and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship.”
