See The Two Long-Standing Premier League Records Broken By Erling Haaland In One Game
Manchester City’s forward player, Erling Haaland has continued in going after every Premier League records.
The latest record to be broken by the Norwegian is the record of the number of games to score four hat tricks in Premier League history. It was previously held by Manchester United’s Ruud van Nistelrooy‘s record who achieved the feat in 65 league games.
Haaland equaled that record in just 19 league games. The 22-year-old achieved this feat in the game against Wolves at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023.
He also surpassed the highest goal record set in the Premier League in the past three seasons. The highest number of goals scored by a Premier League player in the last three seasons is 23. Jamie Vardy ( 2019/20), Harry Kane (2020/21), Salah and Son ( 2021/22).
