Rema Breaks Another Record – Becomes First African Artiste To Do This

Talented singer, songwriter and performer Rema has achieved another ground breaking achievement on Spotify as he became the first and only African artist to surpass 30 million monthly listeners on the digital streaming platform.

The record-breaking number of monthly Spotify listeners for an African artist belongs to Rema, who has crossed 34,000,000.

This is hardly shocking, though, given the singer’s debut album, “Rave & Roses,” which was released in 2022, included some of the most streamed Nigerian tracks.
