Osimhen Not At His Best Yet – Napoli Manager, Mazzarri

Napoli’s manager, Walter Mazzarri, acknowledged that Victor Osimhen requires additional time to rediscover his peak performance level.

Osimhen has faced challenges regaining his top form following a hamstring injury. In recent matches against Bologna, Real Madrid, and Inter Milan, the 24-year-old striker failed to score.

As Napoli prepares to face Juventus at Turin’s Allianz Arena on Friday, Mazzarri suggested that Osimhen is still not operating at his optimal level.

In his words;

“Osimhen obviously needs time to find his best form, also in terms of physical conformation”.

“But it’s clear that even if he wasn’t at one hundred percent, he can still give me great guarantees for the strength he knows how to express, even for portions of matches like he has done so far after returning.”
