Martial Speaks On What Man United Players Think About Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United’s loaned out forward, Anthony Martial has opened up on how the players at Old Trafford feel about Cristiano Ronaldo.

The French star waved aside reports suggesting disharmony between Ronaldo and teammates at Manchester United.

Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford last summer and pushed Martial down the pecking order at the club.

The Frenchman made just two Premier League starts for Red Devils and decided to join Sevilla on loan in the January window, in order to play consistently.

There have been reports of friction between Ronaldo and some of his teammates, but Martial played down suggestions that the Portugal captain is a difficult character and insists the squad all got along well with him.

Asked if it is true that Ronaldo was a problem in the dressing room, Martial told AS:

“Cristiano is a top professional, one of the best in the history of the game.

“We all love him. There are things that are said in the media that are not true. I was in that dressing room and I know what happened.”
