Man City Haaland Named World’s Best Striker
Former Liverpool forward, Peter Crouch, has identified Manchester City’s Erling Haaland as the best striker in the world.
Crouch said that Haaland bulli3s people on the pitch, adding that he loves watching the 22-year-old play.
The former Tottenham Hotspur star said this after Haaland netted a brace in Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League 4-0 victory over Sevilla on Tuesday night in Spain.
Haaland joined Pep Guardiola’s side in a £54 million deal from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
The Norwegian has already scored 12 goals in eight appearances across competitions, including consecutive hat-tricks in the Premier League this season.
“They have the best striker in the world. I just love watching this man play, he bullies people. Watching him as a striker, I wish I had that kind of pace and strength, to be honest,” Crouch said on BT Sport.
“He is going to blow records away because [of] his movement, he doesn’t need to touch the ball. His strength, his athleticism and his pace is phenomenal to watch.”
