Lionel Messi Unfollows Garnacho Over Ronaldo Celebration

Manchester United legend, Rio Ferdinand has claimed that Inter Miami’s Lionel Messi unfollowed Alejandro Garnacho on social media.

Ferdinand made the claim as Garnacho recently scored a spectacular overhead kick during Man United’s Premier League win over Everton.

Speaking on Vibe with FIVE YouTube show, Ferdinand said,

“My lad [Garnacho] said to me the other day Messi unfollowed him. He said Messi unfollowed him.

“Because he comes out, don’t care, ‘I’m a Ronaldo man’. Who’s the GOAT? Ronaldo. (Even) when he’.”

Garnacho and Messi are both international teammates with Argentina’s senior team.

The 19-year-old joined Man United from Atletico Madrid in 2020.
