LA LIGA Confirms Date For First El Clasico Between Real Madrid & Barcelona

Barcelona will clash with Real Madrid on October 28 in the first Clásico fixture of the 2023–2024 season, LaLiga confirmed on Friday.
The game will see Barca host Madrid at the Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys, which is their temporary home while Camp Nou is being redeveloped.
Madrid are top of the table, having won all four of their league games so far, with Barcelona two points behind them.
Last season, the two Spanish giants played each other a total of five times: twice in LaLiga, in the final of the Spanish Supercopa, and in the two-legged Copa del Rey semifinals.
Madrid defeated Barca 3-1 in LaLiga at the Bernabeu last October, but Barca won the Supercopa final by the same scoreline on January 15.
In the Copa del Rey, Madrid overturned a 1-0 first-leg deficit with a 4-0 win at Camp Nou on April 5.
Barcelona won 2-1 in LaLiga at Camp Nou on March 19, helping them clinch the league title and eventually finishing 10 points clear of Madrid.
