I Will Ban Keke And Motorcycle In Oyo By 2024 – Gov. Seyi Makinde

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has announced strict measures regarding motorcyclists and tricyclists, stating that unregistered operators will be prohibited from plying the roads starting January 2024.

Emphasizing the urgency, he urged these operators to enroll in the Oyo State Residents’ Registration Scheme by December 31, 2023.

The decision, unveiled after a state security council meeting, aims to curb associated issues and enhance overall security.

Seyi Makinde highlighted the necessity for registration, which includes capturing biometrics and crucial details of commercial riders, ensuring compliance for operating in the state.
