Don’t Frustr@te Our Petition, Steer Clear Of Our Party – NNPP Cautions APC, Abiodun

The All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State have been cautioned by the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) to stay away from the party.

On Thursday, the party issued this warning.

It was highlighted that the purported attempts by the APC and Abiodun to confuse the NNPP made it necessary to warn them.

These revelations were made by the party’s Southwest Zonal Publicity, Hon. Kilamuwaye Badmus, in a statement made accessible to DAILY POST on Thursday.

He said that the APC and Abiodun are both attempting to thwart the ongoing petition that has been filed against the APC, Dapo Abiodun, and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) about the absence of the party name on the ballot papers used to conduct the state’s governorship election on March 18th.

He continued by stating that he had never, for whatever reason, sent Comrade Sunday Olaposi Oginni, the previous state party chairman, an apology letter.

He continued by stating that the action done regarding the current tribunal case is a group effort to save the party in the state.

“I want to also call on the APC-led administration under Governor Dapo Abiodun to stay clear of the NNPP matter, which they are trying to dabble in, to frustrate the ongoing petition against the APC, Dapo Abiodun and the INEC for the omission of our party name on the ballot papers used in conducting March 18th.
