Former Chelsea star Joe Cole has cautioned Arsenal, suggesting they would need to offer more than £100 million to secure the services of Aston Villa’s Douglas Luiz.

Cole has highlighted Luiz’s exceptional performance, surpassing Chelsea’s high-profile signing, Moises Caicedo. The Brazilian midfielder stands as one of Arsenal’s primary targets in the upcoming January transfer window.

However, acquiring Luiz could pose a financial challenge for Mikel Arteta’s side, necessitating potential player sales to finance the move. Luiz remains contracted to Aston Villa until 2026.
