Release prankster Trinity guy – Newly formed union of Content Creators and Influencers pleads

The recently constituted Union of Content Creators and Influencers, led by the Acting President, Mr. Micheal Nwabufo also known as Mike Premium, has proceeded to assist with the release of skit maker, Trinity Guy.

Recall that Abdullahi Maruff Adisa, popularly known as Trinity Guy has been det@ined in police custody following a skit in which he s£xualised a female minor. He was det@ined alongside the parents of the girl who gave their consent, before the video was uploaded to the Internet.

To this end, the Union of Content Creators and Influencers in a heartfelt plea for mercy, submitted a letter on Friday to the recently appointed Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun for a courtesy visit, to formally introduce the union and reiterate its commitment to sanitising the content creation space in Nigeria.

Mr. Micheal Nwabufo noted that the union is charged with the responsibility of upholding best practices and ethics in content creation, to ensure that skit makers express themselves within the confines of ideas that are in the best interest of the general public.

The Acting President also used the opportunity to call on all Content Creators and Influencers in Nigeria to become registered members of the union, and contribute to the growth of the industry.

He pledged that the union will do its best to ensure the release of their member, Trinity Guy, and that other skit makers adhere to the ethics of the profession.
