Mikel Obi Compares Salah & Mane

Former Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi, has picked his favourite player between Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah and Al-Nassr’s Sadio Mane.

In a series of quick-fire questions via CAF’s official X handle on Thursday, the former Chelsea midfielder was asked to choose between Salah and Mane.

However, Mikel Obi hesitated for a few seconds and eventually picked ‘Salah’ over Mane.

Recall that both Salah and Mane were former teammates at Liverpool before the Senegalese international left Anfield for Bayern Munich last year.

Meanwhile, Mikel Obi was named among the draw assistants for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations final draw.

The Nigerian will be joined by his former Chelsea teammate, Didier Drogba, Mane and Morocco defender Achraf Hakimi.
