Wizkid Reveals The Greatest Religion In The World While Discussing His Albums

Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known by his stage as Wizkid, discusses his albums More Love, Less Ego and Made In Lagos and what the greatest religion in the world should be.

According to Wizkid, with the album “Made In Lagos“, he wanted people to become acquainted with his heritage, according to him, while his latest album, “More Love, Less Ego” is about message of love.

He believes that sincere love can be expressed by everyone and that love should be the greatest religion in the world.

He said;

“I always start from the title. When I know what I want to call the album and what I want to say, I start creating the music. And most of the time, when I’m working on an album, there’s a moment where I give up on it. The most important thing is to be intentional.

For Made in Lagos for example, I wanted people to know where I come from and who I am. With More Love, Less Ego , I want to share a message of love and make people vibrate. Love should be the greatest religion in the world. I believe that everyone can love each other, for real. My message is “love one another and take care of your neighbour”.

He also spoke on what he learnt during the process of making his album, saying that one should learn to live every moment equally.

“I also learned to accept the ups and downs, to live the moments of happiness and the periods of sadness in an equal way because all that is part of life. It is yin and yang.”
