WAEC Bows To Pressure, Adjusts Timetable To Enable Muslims Observe Juma’at

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has bowed to weight, and is prepared to revise the piece of its 2018 SSCE Examination that conflicted with the Friday Jumah supplication.

The influenced subject is Chemistry 1 and 2, which was initially slated for 2pm to 5pm on Friday, April 20, 2018.

Following responses from Muslim associations, the Director of Public Affairs, WAEC Nigeria, Mr Demianus Ojijeogu has affirmed the slight alteration to Premium Times.
