Started the Year with No.1, Ending It with No.1 – Ruger Boasts

Ruger, a stage name for Nigerian artist Michael Adebayo Olayinka, regularly boasts about his musical abilities on Instagram.

The recently signed artist to Jonzing Records, who is known for his distinctive appearance, sent a lengthy message on the image-sharing website to mark the end of the year.

He boasted in his tweet that his song, Dior, which debuted at number one on Apple Music, was the catalyst for the tear. He is now capping off the year with the song Asiwaju, which has occupied the top spot for a month.

He closed by thanking God and his supporters and making a promise that the following year would be even better.

He wrote:
“Been NUMBER 1 for 1 MONTH now and I’m so grateful 🙏🏾. Started the year with DIOR as the number 1 song in the country, caused a lot of damage to your waistlines with GIRLFRIEND in the middle of the year, with WEWE also doing its own bits, Ended the year with ASIWAJU and RED FLAGS 🤯.

I owe it all to GOD, my team and my STREAMING FANS 😂😂. Next year will be a more amazing year for me and my fans I promise you. I’m going in with full madness. Thank you 🙏🏾 and I LOVE YOU 😘❤️
