Schools Seized Candidates WAEC ID Cards, Forces Them To Pay Before It Is Released

Some schools have been accused of seizing the plastic ID Cards that belongs to the WAEC candidates who just wrote the May/June annual examination of the West African Examination Council 2018.

According to reports, the ID Card which contains each candidate’s PIN with which they will be able to use to check their results that was released the first week of this month was seized by some schools denying the students on the right to check their results.

According to a reliable source, the schools deliberately seized the Cards and were demanding a certain amount of money from each of the students before they have the privilege to collect their ID Card. The Cards has been given by WAEC to all the students who registered for the exam free of charge.
