Over 35 Owo Polytechnic staff decry their lack of reinstatement into service

Over 35 workers of the Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Ondo state are protesting the failure of the state government to reinstate them to their positions. The sacked staff worked with the institution’s primary and secondary schools and were laid off in 2019.

According to solicitors of the disengaged staff, Banjo Ayenakin & Co, the news making rounds by the management of the Polytechnic that they have been reabsorbed into service was untrue.
