NYSC Extends Registration for 2018 Batch A, Stream 2 (See Timetable)

The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the registration of the Batch A stream II prospective corps members.

The scheme had on March 25, 2018, notified prospective corps members that registration portal will be open from Monday, March 26, 2018, and will close on Sunday, April 8, 2018.

However, the management of the youth scheme has announced that registration has now been extended to Tuesday, April 10, 2018.

NYSC announced the extension of the registration on Monday, April 9, 2018, on its Facebook page.

“This is to inform 2018 Batch ‘A’ Prospective Corps Members that Online Registration has been extended to Tuesday 10th April, 2018.

It urged eligible candidates to make good of the two days extension and carry out all their registration, warning that the portal will not be reopened once it is shutdown.

Meanwhile, the scheme, in a tweet in its official Twitter hand;e, also advised prospective corps members with wrong thumbprint and passport photographs to contact states secretariat before the commencement of the orientation exercise.

The tweet: “This is to inform 2018 Batch “A” PCMs with wrong thumbprint and passport photographs to contact our States Secretariat before the commencement of the Orientation Exercise.”

Also, as stated in the NYSC Mobilization Time-Table for 2018 Batch A, Deployment and Printing of Call-up Letters by ICT Department of the agency will start from Monday, April 9,to Wednesday, April 11, 2018.

This exercise will be followed with Notification/On-line Printing of Call-up Letters/Delivery of Call-up letters to Institutions from Thursday, April 12 to Sunday, April 15, 2018.

The scheme in a statement enjoined all 2018 Batch ‘A’ prospective corps members to commence online registration as from Monday, March 26, as the registration would end on Sunday, April 8.

It said the prospective corps members should ensure that they have functional e-mail addresses that they can access and Nigerian (GSM) telephone numbers with which to register.
