“My Parents Asked Me For A Grammy,” Burna Boy Says As He Flaunts Award

Grammy award winning Nigerian superstar, Damini Ogulu, alias Burna Boy has finally received his Grammy plaque.

The ‘Kilometre’ crooner took to his Instagram page on Thursday to share pictures of the plaque as he revealed that his parents asked him to get them a Grammy and he has granted their wish.

“Early Morning deliveries from across the pond! 😪My parents prayed for excellent children, not houses, cars or “things”. They asked my sisters for stellar degrees; one got a first class in Finance, the other got a Distinction in Engineering. They asked me for a Grammy, and here we are. I am a product of sacrifice! Thank God and thank you all again! ❤️, ” he wrote.
