Mbappe Misses Training Ahead Of France Clash With England

Leading goalscorer at the Qatar 2022 World Cup Kylian Mbappe missed training on Tuesday ahead of France’s quarter-final clash against England.

Mbappe, who has been in sensational form in Qatar, scoring five goals in four games, now creates anxiety in the camp of France.

French sports outlet L’Equipe reports that the 24-year-old Paris Saint-Germain forward was not present at training at the Jassim-bin-Hamad stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

Instead, according to the report, the forward spent the day working in the France ‘recovery room.’

England trades tackles with France for a place in the semi-final of the competition this Saturday.

The PSG star was carrying a slight injury issue earlier in the competition and was pictured wearing strapping around his ankle ahead of the final group match against Tunisia.
