Federal High Court in Abuja has granted DCP Abba Kyari Bail

Nigeria’s Federal High Court on Thursday granted Abba Kyari, a suspended deputy commissioner of Police bail.

Kyari was arrested in 2022 on allegations of drug trafficking. He is also alleged to have connections with convicted fraudster, Ramon Abass aka Huspuppi.

In February, the Court of Appeal rejected his appeal for bail against the ruling of a Federal High Court, Abuja which last year refused to admit him to bail.
