Davido Extends His Contract With Sony Music/RCA Records

Afrobeats megastar David Adedeji Adeleke, who is professionally known as Davido has announced the extension of his contract with international record labels Sony Music/RCA Records.

In 2017, Davido became the first musician from Nigeria to sign with Sony Music/RCA Records. On the 19th of May 2023, he extended his deal with the company.

By agreeing to a lucrative multi-million dollar contract renewal with industry titan Sony Music, The DMW boss has once again accomplished a spectacular achievement.

The artist and his legal team, BFA & Co Legal, acknowledged the contract renewal in various tweets made on their social media platforms today, Friday, May 19, 2023.

This statement comes following the release of his fourth studio album, “Timeless,” which went on to break several records after its release on March 31, 2023, as well as the announcement of his “Timeless” tour.

On his social media page, he announced his global partnership with the labels, assuring his followers that the new deal will ensure he continues to deliver them timeless moments.

He has sparked excitement among his followers by implying that there may be more from him in 2023.
