Davido Celebrates As Supreme Court Upholds Adeleke’s Election Victory

David Adeleke, the world-famous Nigerian Afrobeats star, who is popularly known as Davido, has reacted to the victory of his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke at the Supreme Court.

The apex court on Tuesday upheld Adeleke’s victory in the July 12, 2022 governorship election in Osun State.

Reacting to the judgement via his Twitter handle, an elated Davido wrote, “We go Dey shock dem like high tension!! @AAdeleke_01.”

Recall that Davido had taken to social media to seek God’s intervention in the court ruling.

Hours before the judgment was delivered, Senator Adeleke wrote, “God is going to win today.”

Davido replied, “Amen unc. we got this!”
