Lecturers Use Juju In Mapoly Abeokota During Protest

Some members of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnic in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta chapter, resorted to diab0lical means in their protest today, in order to agitate against an alleged directive by the Technical Committee set up by the OG0n State government to upgrade the educational institution to a university status.

The lecturers had revealed that the committee which is entrusted with the task of overseeing the transition of MAPOLY to Moshood Abiola University of Science and Technology , headed by Prof . Peter Okebukola , had issued a directive ordering the sack of over 250 lecturers in the institution to turn in their resignation letters and reapply .

Some ‘juju’ items were seen at the entrance gate to the school which was shut down by protesting lecturers.
