Burna Boy, Adekunle Gold, Yemi Alade To Be Considered For Grammy Awards (Who Do You Think Might Win?)

There are news making rounds that some contemporary Nigerian musicians are being considered for a Grammy Award.
We all know that the 61st Grammy Award is coming soon in a couple of months, January 2019 to be exact and some Nigerian artistes have been handpicked to be listed for a Grammy Award nomination.
These artistes are: Burna Boy, Adekunle Gold and Mama Africa herself, Yemi Alade, will be considered for a nomination in the ‘Best World Music Album‘ category.
While Burna Boy has ‘Outside’, Adekunle Gold has ‘About 30’ and Yemi Alade has ‘Black Magic’, as their latest respective album.
The news although not official was let out of the bag by A&R and founder of the Plug NG Bizzle Osikoya in a tweet.

The news was affirmed by Joey Akan, a top Nigerian music journalist.

Its not new that Seun Kuti was already announced to have picked a nod for his album ‘Black Times’ in the ‘Best World Music Album’.
